The Digital Aleph in schools
Are you interested in using Artificial Intelligence as a pedagogical tool?
In this section, you will find resources to connect with your students using cutting-edge technology, with free and open-access materials.
If you're interested in exploring further, there are free software tools you can use to develop texts, stories, assignments, essays, etc. One very popular tool is ChatGPT, which works similarly to using a WhatsApp chat but conversing with Google. Basically, we ask through a text box what we need, and it responds in the same way. For example: "I want you to respond as an expert in X area and create a lesson that emphasizes Y or Z" or "I want you to respond as an expert in X area and suggest three group dynamics so I can teach a certain idea in a playful way."
The same can be done for generating images at the following link. Where it says "Prompt," we need to provide the AI with instructions about the image we need, for example: "An old yellow tree next to a house with red tiles" or "Two people having a friendly conversation." Then click on "Create." Once the image is generated, you can click on it to enlarge it and finally right-click "Save as" to download it.
